A prominent Dubai based businessman has agreed to make the largest deal in Bitcoin investment’s history, solely for the development and growth of cryptocurrency in Miami, US.

Khurram Shroff, who is the chairman of IBC group and one of the proud initiators of crypto currency’s development in the region, agreed to make the largest bitcoin investment to contribute towards the set-up of Miami 2.0 Blockchain strategy foundation and other joint project ventures. At present, Shroff says that he has pledged 100,000 bitcoin which are worth $ 4.8 billion. With such a huge investment, this prominent businessman hopes to see the growing trend of using crypto currencies in the region and hopes it to exceed the estimated amount of $200 billion dollar crypto transactions per day by the end of 2021.

This phenomenal agreement will allow the bitcoin and the use of other crypto currencies to become a routinely component in everyday businesses and needless to say, will stand vital in the development of Miami’s blockchain. Miam’s blockchain strategy foundation’s main goal is to incorporate Bitcoin into every day transactions.

This pledge is the result of collaboration between US-based real estate developer, Burkhan World Investment and the IBC group where the sole purpose of getting together was to increase the adoption of blockchain technology in real estate projects in Miami.

Khurram Shroff also added, “Making the largest bitcoin investment in history is the proof of our commitment to assisting the cities adopt blockchain, which we see as the key to economic success and sustainability.”

Burkhan World Investment has currently over $1 billion worth of real estate projects in Miami and all of the projects are being powered by the latest developments in technology and innovation. IBC group and Burkhan expressed their happiness in contributing towards Miami’s strategic tech vision through this joint venture.

Miami’s Mayor, Frances Suarez said in his previous statement, “In cities like Miami, we are trying to attract Tech town. It is a part of a larger play to position Miami as one of the most tech-forward cities in the country.”

Inspired by the Mayors’ statement, The Miami 2.0 strategy Blockchain foundation came in to being. The main aim of this tech venture is to make Miami the leading technological hub of United States.

Shroff concluded his thoughts by saying that he has a strong belief in Miami aligning itself with Dubai, which is also a growing hub of blockchain technology and one of the very first cities in the Gulf to run a blockchain foundation in US. He said that both the cities can grow and flourish simultaneously with this great exchange of technology, innovation and experimentation.
